COMPLETED PROJECT: PARK REDEVELOPMENT AND FOUNTAIN CONSTRUCTION IN KULA
Within the framework of the LIID Project, the initiative titled “Construction of a Fountain in the Park in Kula and Redevelopment of the Park, Including Sections of Đure Strugara and Maršala Tita Streets” has been successfully completed.
The implementation of this project has significantly enhanced the public space in the central zone of the Municipality of Kula, in close proximity to the Primary Healthcare Center. The park has been transformed into a functional and contemporary urban environment, offering a wide range of amenities designed to meet the needs of all user groups, from leisure and relaxation areas to a children’s playground and a newly installed interactive dry fountain.
The project also included the upgrade of pedestrian pathways, installation of urban furniture and public lighting, as well as the reconstruction of traffic infrastructure and parking facilities. Particular emphasis was placed on improving green areas, including lawn restoration and the planting of new trees, thereby contributing to enhanced environmental quality.
Through the implementation of energy efficiency measures and climate adaptation strategies, the project contributes to the development of a more resilient and sustainable urban environment, in line with the objectives of the LIID Programme.
With the completion of this project, the citizens of Kula have gained a modern, well-designed, and accessible public space for recreation, relaxation, and social interaction.
